Company Lookup API

Look up companies in official open registers: 2.8 million legal entities worldwide from the GLEIF LEI index, and US public companies with their SEC filings. Sources: GLEIF Global LEI Index (about 2.8 million entities, CC0) and U.S. SEC EDGAR (public domain). Both are queried live, so data is as current as the registers. Name search merges GLEIF prefix and full-text results and ranks exact legal names first; pass country to separate companies with the same name. LEIs are validated with their ISO 17442 check digits before the register is called. UK Companies House and other national registers are not included yet.
