Score how risky a link is from signals you can verify: domain age, brand look-alikes, punycode, raw IP hosts, redirects and shorteners, HTTPS and DNS, with the reason for every point. Signals: domain age and registration (RDAP), brand look-alikes (35 frequently impersonated brands, character swaps such as 0 for o, brand names in other domains or subdomains), punycode, raw IP hosts, risky TLDs, "@" in the URL, login wording, link shorteners, redirects to other sites, HTTPS and DNS. Each signal has a weight; the score is their sum (max 100). 25+ is suspicious, 60+ dangerous. This is a risk assessment, not a blocklist lookup: a low score does not guarantee a page is safe. Opening the link uses the same protections as our other web APIs: internal addresses are refused and redirects are capped at 5.
